Iran in Turkey’s Geopolitical Game Plan – Part I

President of Kurdish American Education Society, Los Angeles.

1) In the early 20th Century, the Turkish purpose behind the Armenian Genocide (the area was depopulated and taken over by killing off all the Armenians; Armenia is the yellow area on the map) was to connect the land between Turkey and Azerbaijan, across to Turkmenistan, to the Turkic states of Central Asia to create a contiguous Turkish land mass.

2) Armenia came under the protection of the Western nations because it was a Christian region, after the genocide.

3) Turkey & Azerbaijan continue to try to destroy Armenia to make their land/borders contiguous. Succeeding in the fight for Nagorno-Karabakh would allow Turkey and Azerbaijan to weaken and ultimately annex Armenia to accomplish this goal.

4) Turkey’s other land bridge to Turkmenistan and Central Asia is through Iran. They already have East & West Azerbaijan connected. Their policy with respect to Iran is to empower the Azeris in Iran to take control of political power in Tehran. Gilan & Mazandaran (in Green) would become populated by Turks from Central Asia, and the Pan Turkic Land bridge across Iran would be completed.

The rest of the region would follow in due time. The Turks hold the deepest grudge against Kurds, for the strong, effective and enduring Kurdish resistance against the Turkic genocidal and Turkification policies to destroy all existing cultures in the region which has persisted from 1453 when Constantinople became Istanbul and the Byzantine Empire fell to the Turks and Ottomans until the present time.

5) The 2009 “Green” movement in Iran, led by Mr Moussavi of the Azeri minority, and the current 2018 uprising is financed and led by Turkey & Azerbaijan who have convinced the U.S. and the Gulf States, to support them for a regime change in Iran. Iranians demand, and deserve cultural freedom and economic prosperity. However, they should understand the background and ulterior motives of the players involved to better know who their real enemies are and what their Game Plan for Iran Is.

6) Kurds of Iran, join the call for change in the Iranian policies toward the minorities, while call on all Iranians to be mindful of Turkey’s Geopolitical Game Plan for Iran.
