Mr. Ambassador, it’s not up to you to determine the Liberty and Freedom of over 4 million Kurds in Rojava-Syria

Fraudulent justice will be contested; as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” The Syrian Kurds aren’t the root cause of the calamity of Syrian broken nation; under current political flail upheaval in Syria, the Rojava’s Kurdistan security and prosperity is far better off than relative the rest of Syria today, where Kurds, Arabs, Christians Communities living together, under the Kurds leadership.

In defense of a century old and entrenched, unworkable colonial system, of adopted policies in the Middle East, particularly in today’s Syria unrewarding in past and rules, delve to address the long- term Kurdish question in Rojava Kurdistan-Syria alleviated former U.S. Ambassador Robert Ford self –prove expression in counter to critical Kurdish aspirations; repugnant and unwarranted politically charged statement – “I understand Kurdish desires for an autonomous region. The Kurdish in Iraq works pretty well. But Syrian Kurds cannot unilaterally declare an autonomous region without reference to other Syrians. It’s actually making things worse on the ground. It’s driving some Arabs tribes to help Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and other tribes to help the Islamic State.”

As Kurdish President Barzani who said, on numerous occasions: “Self-determination is our natural rights.” Historically, the ongoing carnage & conflicts in Syria today, should be squarely blamed to under French Mandate mess then, the formation of the Syrian State in early 1920’s to 1950’s where French Authority then concentrated power on Damascus capital, and left multi ethnic society- Syria at the hand of a bunch Arab Chauvinists.

Mr. Ambassador what kind solution do you offer to over 4 million Kurds in Syria? While majority of peace loving people of the world in democratic societies of nonpartisan people have repeatedly urged their politicians to arm the Kurds to fight this rapacious malignant- virulent snake ISIL/ISIS. A defined people with a language and culture all their own, living in a geographically a coherent area. As you aware off, so called the Syrian oppositions, didn’t accepted the Kurds as a political force. Because most likely at behest hegemony regional imperial power. Rojava Kurds in this fraught period, facing ethnic cleansing, cannot afford idly sit to be annihilated by those monsters the nihilistic ISIL/ISIS, and others. Supposedly, a bunch of people like you with myopic view desire to reverse the current situation back to unworkable colonial system of old style of realpolitik; the quid pro quo of quasi state is fait accompli- thing in the past, in Syria and Iraq as well, these factions do not adhere to the national flags statehood anymore, they are sectarian tribes carrying their co- religious flags.

There is no pattern or science might reveal what went wrong in this part of world in the past decades. But there are apparent sets of reasons for the enormous failures of all chauvinism political movements, under the banner of Ba’athism and nationalism. Rivalry presentation of epic geopolitical computations, in between Shia and Sunni, for powers and control is pitting Iraq and Syria. This region’s tale and narrative is record of a destruction foretold when Ba’ath took over the power in both countries. This region has been living in purgatory ever since with each problem giving birth to another. Ba’ath regime pursued a chauvinistic policy of Arabization, wanting to change both ethnographic and demographic of Kurdistan.

On September 27, 2013, I wrote a narrative suggesting: “It’s time tri-parts Syria on the basis of ethnography and the regional faith”/via United Nations- at that time, the Daish –ISIL/ISIS was still on its embryonic stage, and destruction of Syria was much less than what is today. This is a part of that narrative:

“Alas, the scale of conflict ongoing in Syria is abhorrent; it seems that the civilized World of 21st century unable to intervene, it’s repugnant that the innocent people are suffering from unstoppable carnage inside Syria for the sake of imperial powers. It is shameful, whoever employed or employs the chemical weapons in Syria or anywhere else’s to go with impunity.

Sunni majority Arabs need to come to with grip, that Syria is not homogeneous State; it is rather heterogeneous comprised of multi-ethnic people.

If and when the breakup takes place in Syria on the basis of ethnic enclaves rule, or at least minimum to a loose co- federated States, it will be hard for majority to indulge; but at least it will probably prevent future conflicts and ethnic cleansings between all three major ethnic groups.”

The tolerance of the Kurdish people toward other minorities and assistance to the refugees is not credited as it should have been.

Whether the pro “old colonial system”, reactionary governments in the Middle East agree or disagree, the Syria’s Genie is out of the bottle. Syria is now a tri- state. Only on paper, Syria is a unified state. It’s not up to Robert Ford to decide if and when the Rojava Kurdistan can have an autonomous region, the vision and suggestion that was put forward by Mr. Ford is distinctly biased and repulsive.
