As I have written so many times in the past about the fact that in Kurdistan we have three little towns and yet we have so many different voices and “Masools” as is said in Kurdish! We have a very popular proverb in the US and it goes like this: “Too many chiefs and too few Indians!” and that is what we have in Kurdistan nowadays.
I honestly do not know how many different parties there are in Kurdistan and everyone is pulling their way and serve their own interest without thinking of the consequences that might follow.
For example, lets just take the last couple of days and try to figure out what each of those Kurdish “representatives” are doing on their own. Here is few Kurds that are outside of Kurdistan “doing their thing” and meeting people for who knows what. Here is the list that I have read about and there might be more than that, but lets us stay with what has already been made public in the past two days:
1- Mr. Nechirvan Barzani is in Turkey meeting with the Turkish Prime Minister and the Turkish President
2- Mr. Barham Salih is in Moscow meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister
3- A “delegation” of KRG is in Washington, DC meeting with Americans about “something!”
4- The KRG Parliament speaker, Yousif Mohammed Sadiq is in Sweden meeting with the Swedish Parliament complaining about the KRG!!
5- Another delegation, Kurdish parliament members, are in Baghdad meeting with the officials from the Iraqi central government- I guarantee all that are reading this article that these guys in Baghdad are accomplishing absolutely nothing/zilch since all are Iraqis!!
How in the world can any country take us Kurds seriously if this is what is going on and everyone is chasing their interest and promoting their own agenda? Can the Kurds be any more disunited and unprofessional and make it known to the world?
In the US, the most powerful country in the world with population of 328 Million, we have only ONE person/politician, Mr. John Kerry, that travels the world and discuss issues that are related to America! Contrast that with our Kurdish politicians and see if it makes any sense at all of what the Kurds are doing.
