The Arab Israeli conflict started with the creation of Israel in 1948. Since then, radical Arab nationalists and radical Islamists were born to aim at the destruction of Israel and erasing Israel from a map of the world. At the same time, Jews treat Arab Israelis whether Muslims or Christians inhumanely. The fact is Israel at the time of its creation was populated by the Palestinian people.

Jews confiscate the Palestinians’ homes and land, and the Palestinians are driven out of the land of their forefathers resulting in millions of Palestinians to live in their own country as refugees. As the Israeli expansion into Palestinian lands continues more and more Palestinians will be dislocated.

The question is: can Palestinians and Jews reconcile their differences and coexist in the country peaceably? Answering this question requires a study of the past and present to arrive at the future outlook. This inquiry will elucidate the history of Israel and Palestinians based on holly scriptures(Old Testament/Torah, New Testament/Engel, and Quran).

The biblical claim of Jews starts with Abraham as God promised him The Promised Land, “Ginsus 15: 18 On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi[e] of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates— 19 the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, 20 Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, 21 Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.”.  “Ginsus 25: 12 This is the account of the family line of Abraham’s son Ishmael, whom Sarah’s slave, Hagar the Egyptian, bore to Abraham”.

Later, God appeared to Isaac and said to him, “Genesis 26: 3 “For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham.” . This excluded Ishmael and his offspring (Arabs) from the promised land.

It should be noted that The Promised Land was not vacant but populated with many nations and kingdoms. That implies the Israelites had to conquer the land and eradicate the natives; killing everyone except the Virgins to take for themselves as wives, Deuteronomy: 21 “  11 if you notice among the captives a beautiful woman and are attracted to her, you may take her as your wife”.

Deuteronomy 7: People of Israel, the Lord your God will help you take the land of the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. These seven nations have more people and are stronger than Israel, but when you attack them, 2 the Lord will force them out of the land. Then you must destroy them without mercy.”. Deuteronomy:20  “16 However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes.

Moslems during the formation of the Islamic Empire didn’t kill everyone, but they took their enemy’s virgins as wives for themselves. They looted the properties of their enemies, “And know that whatever of war-booty that you may gain, verily, one-fifth of it is assigned to Allah, and the Messenger” [al-Anfaal 8:41]. “So, enjoy what you have gotten of booty in war, lawful and good’ [al-Anfaal 8:69].

God’s Promise Land wasn’t unconditional, Moses told Israelites ” Deuteronomy:28 15 However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you, 64 Then the Lord will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other.”

The Quran confirms what Moses said, Surah Al-A’raf 168 asserts “And We scattered them into communities on earth.”. To this end, Moses’s saying came to fruition when Nebuchadnezzar responded with another expedition in 588 B.C. and conquered Jerusalem in 586 B.C. He deported the prominent citizens. Thus, the glory of King David and Salamon ended, and Jews were delivered to be scattered and ruled by others.

As stated above, God promised Israelites that he would grant them the Promised Land should they observe God’s commandments.   Then, God abundant Israel according to His promise to Moses for Israelites did evil in the sight of the Lord for generations. He delivered them to the hands of their enemies and scattered them amongst nations.

Jews were to follow the teaching of Chris and abolish the Mosaic Law and instead follow the teaching of Chris, the New Covenant, (Jeremiah 31: 31, “The days are coming,” declares the Lord,  when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel”. In a New Testament,  Hebrews 8:13, “In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.”.

As promised Jews will never regain their glory until the coming back of Masahisa, the Chris, in the latter days, “For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land (Ezekiel 36:24).

The state of Israel is not God’s promise but rather the British arrangement to give a small land to Jews to call it a homeland at the expense of the Palestinian people. Historically speaking before the return of Jews to Israel, Palestine was populated with many nations, and none were Jews or Arabs, this implies that neither Arabs nor Jews have biblical right to the land of Palestine.

Since the formation of Israel, Palestinians, and Jews have been in territorial conflict over the land of Israel; their, anger, and hatred towards each other have been simmering, hatred and revenge have been their aim towards one another, and both celebrate their brutalities, bloodshed, and destructions.

The bloody and destructive conflict is due to biblical right versus birthright. Jews believe the state of Israel is in a realm of God’s Promised Land to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob while Palestinians claim that the land is a birthplace of their forefathers. The daunting problem is that two groups of people claim the same land, and neither one is willing to compromise, to this end, they keep engaging in a never-ending war. As a result, Palestinians will never have their ideal country, and Jews will never have their desired peace and security.
