In Western democratic systems when a person runs for political office, the credibility of their past experiences socially and politically is very important. Their experience has to be credible; their recognition is subject to a lot of scrutiny, especially by media outlets, as generally people vote based on what they hear and see from that person’s character.
There are also other leaders who have been described as “Teflon” such as President Ronald Reagan in the 1980’s, current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and others… “Teflon is a chemical element, a nonstick coating for pans, and the Urban Dictionary defines a Teflon president as a president who manages to remain popular… despite scandals surrounding their administration…”
It’s subject that President Donald John Trump has got them all, political authority, fascination, ostentatious, mossagenistic accusations, wealth, allegations of corruption, polarizations, and the list goes on… It’s a strikingly odd way to run a global power like the United States. In 2015, during his presidential campaign, when Donald Trump was vying to win the nomination for the US presidency; he indicated that he was an outsider of the political mainstream, and that he would lead the US government as he ran his companies, which meant he would not be influenced by political lobbyists.
It appeared that many Republican party constituents’ base were receptive to that idea; but governing the US government internationally and nationally is much more complex than running a 10 billion dollar company. President Donald Trump claims that his company is worth 10 billion dollars, but many financial experts doubt this status due to the major inconsistencies that are inflating the worth of Trump’s assets, and they think it’s much lower than that. On top of that, he has not disclosed his company’s assets to the public. President Trump authored a book named “Art of the Deal”, but journalist Tony Schwartz was the one who allegedly wrote the “Art of the Deal” for President Trump.
Since Donald Trump’s tenure as US president, he has constantly been lambasting media outlets, politicians, judges, the deep state, election fraud, etc… when they don’t support his view. Previously, there have been at least two non partisan commissions to investigate supposed US election fraud, based on President Donald Trump’s baseless claims. That commission investigation found no evidence of any wrongdoing in the US electoral process systems, and the commission had to be discontinued because they found no evidence or case(s) of tainted votes…
US foreign policy under President Trump has become based more on a personal level than based on real agenda or standards of U.S. interests; for example, in 2019 the Turkish offensive and invasion of Northern Syria-Rojava Kurdistan, was based on a phone call between Turkish President Erdogan and US President Trump; that’s why both then Defence Secretary Jim Mattis and “Special Presidential envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL” Brett McGurk resigned, as a protest to the Turkish invasion as it was against U.S. interests in Syria.
An Isolationist policy will not serve long term U.S. interests, and without the U.S. present on the world stage, it will create more instability around the world. Two world wars happened when the U.S. was mostly absent from world stage politics. It will create more chaos, particularly in the Middle East. For whatever reason, Trump has loosened Turkish president Erdogan, and President Erdogan has created more chaos and problems in the Middle East than the Middle East could ever ask for! The Turkish state has invaded parts of Northern Syria, Iraq, Libya, Nagorno–Karabakh-Armenia, and has had oil exploration issues with the Greek government in the Mediterranean Sea…

President Donald Trump embraces dictators and authoritarian leaders, like President Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines, President Vladimir Putin of Russia, North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un, and many others… He sat down with Putin and criticized the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (C.I.A). It appears democracy and human rights around the world are a non-issue for President Trump, and at the same time he has issues with traditional US allies such as Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany, or President Emmanuel Macron of France…
As of 2020, the U.S. Presidential election took place, and he lost to his Democratic rival Joe Biden, again he is falsely claiming that fraud and a rigged election took place without any evidence to back these claims up. For example, his people went to the Pennsylvania State Federal Appeals Court, and the Judge rejected Trump’s legal team claims, saying the claims have “no merit”. The irony here is, in the states that he won, he doesn’t talk about election fraud and rigged elections, but the states that he lost to Joe Biden were marred by widespread fraud!
Many people think that President Trump’s speeches, acts, criticism, and actions are an ominous threat to U.S. democracy.
Despite President Trump’s baseless accusation of fraud, he is unable to reverse the course of the election to his advantage, the United States constitution is working as intended…
Despite all allegations and accusations that President Trump of being accused of; this US election year, the Teflon President still managed to receive 70 million votes, that is a staggering number!
However, President Trump wants to change the current immigration policy, which many Republican party members are in favour of. President Trump also credits himself for the status of the U.S. economy, although the U.S. economy’s jump started under Former President Barack Obama, Trump lowered the tax rate for corporations and individuals.
In the states that he lost to his Democratic rival President-Elect Joe Biden during the election, Trump appealed to the Republican governors and legislators of those states to help him out and to turn over election to his advantage, which they are refusing; it appears that President Trump doesn’t understand the U.S. election laws, laws which those governors or legislators are beholden to, they cannot change the election law. Trump is populist president, anti-immigration policy and anti-free trade policy; the majority of Republican party members think that this election was stolen from Trump and given to Joe Biden, despite the many investigations into the election process finding no evidence of fraud.
An American journalist and Author of several books, Bob Woodward, interviewed President Trump, and opinionated that ”President Trump is unfit for office” and many other scholars, academics, and journalists have also written and indicated that Trump is unfit for the office of the United States Presidency.
The Covid-19 virus is accelerating throughout the United States, people are getting sick and are being hospitalized. So far, over 270,000 people have died (that number is constantly rising) and many hospitals are overwhelmed while President Trump is golfing and brooding in the election loss! There is a clause in the U.S. constitution that the sitting president cannot be indicted while in the office for whatever illegal activity(s) he has done previously; he can pardon someone else but cannot pardon himself. When he leaves the White House there are many court cases waiting for the so-called “Teflon President”.
If all of the signs are correct, President Donald J. Trump will leave the White House on January 20th of 2021; and upon departure of the Teflon President from the White House, it is very likely that the U.S. Congress, both the House and the Senate, will alter or curtail some of the U.S. presidential executive powers, as they have been used excessively by various U.S. presidents…
