His Excellency Antonio Guterres
Secretary General of the United Nations

We, members of the Kurdish Community in Diaspora, write to you to express our deepest concern about the chronic and repeated human rights violations committed by the Islamic Republic of Iran against the Kurdish population.
The recent arrest and fatal beating of Masha (Jina) Amini a 22 years old Kurdish woman on September 16th, 2022, is yet another example of grave abuse of power by the Islamic Republic of Iran against women and the Kurdish nationals with expressed aspiration for freedom and equality of rights.

For decades the Kurdish population in Iran have been subjected by insecurity of daily life under the layers of Islamic Republic forces that consists of the regular armed forces, the Persian Revolutionary Guards, The Basijis, the Riot Control vigilantes, the secret plain cloth informers and the “morality police” who continue to commit acts of human rights violations in plain sight of the public and before the international community.

Like its predecessor regimes, the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, continues its crackdown and reprehensible arrests, imprisonment and killing of the Kurdish nationals on the basis of incompatible cultural, linguistic and ideological difference the Kurdish population have with that of the central government. This widespread scale of human rights violations in Iran must be condemned by the civilized world and particularly during the present 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly held in New York.

The supporting documents for the evidence of the commission of crimes against humanity and guilt of the Islamic Republic of Iran is reported annually by the works of many respected Human Rights Groups, NGOs and the UN agencies to the United Nations Human Rights Council and must be condemned by the true moral force on the basis of which the Charter of the United Nations and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights are founded.

Respectfully
Ardishir Rashidi-Kalhur President
